Honda Amaze facelift exterior and interior revealed ahead of launch
The 2024 Honda Amaze is set for a major refresh, with its launch anticipated for December 4, 2024. The third-generation Amaze will adopt a design more in line with Honda’s global models, featuring a larger hexagonal grille, sleeker LED headlights, and a sportier, Civic-inspired look. The design update aims to give it a stronger visual presence, setting it apart in the compact sedan segment, where it will compete with the likes of the Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura
Built on a modified version of the Honda City platform, this model allows Honda to unify its lineup more efficiently. Inside, the Amaze is expected to get a revamped cabin with influences from the Honda Elevate, likely including a larger infotainment touchscreen and possibly even a sunroof in higher trims. This redesign will emphasize both style and modern tech upgrades
Under the hood, the Amaze will continue to use the 1.2L petrol engine from the previous generation, offering 90 horsepower and paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT. Honda’s choice to stick with this reliable engine aligns with its focus on efficiency and affordability, though there’s speculation of a potential future CNG option
