The non-negotiables. Plain-English summaries up top, formal terms below.
Terms of service
Effective date: May 13, 2026.
By creating a workspace on Insightdive ("the Service") you agree to the terms below. We may update them; we'll email workspace owners at least 30 days before material changes take effect.
Acceptable use. Don't use Insightdive to collect personal data on individuals without their consent, to harass users, or to circumvent the anonymous-first design (e.g. by encoding identifying data in the productIdentifier field). We reserve the right to terminate workspaces that do.
Data ownership. The submissions you collect are yours. We process them on your behalf to provide the Service. You can export everything at any time and delete your workspace to remove it permanently.
Service availability. We target 99.9% uptime. We do not promise it on Free and Starter plans. SLAs are part of Enterprise contracts.
Termination. You can close your workspace any time from settings. We will retain the data for 30 days after closure to allow recovery, then delete it permanently. We may suspend or terminate workspaces that violate these terms or fail to pay.
Liability. We provide the Service "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Privacy policy
Effective date: May 13, 2026.
Insightdive is anonymous-first by design. Here's what that means concretely.
What the SDK collects. When an end-user submits a survey, we receive: the project slug, the product version and identifier you stamp in your app, the locale and theme they viewed it in, an opaque session id, and their answers. We do not collect userId, email, IP address, device fingerprint, advertising identifiers, or cookies.
What we do with admin accounts. Workspace administrators provide an email, name, and a password (or SSO link). We use the email for account recovery and billing notifications only — never for marketing without explicit opt-in.
Where data lives. Encrypted Postgres in Montreal, Canada, behind Cloudflare. Backups are encrypted at rest and retained per your plan. Enterprise customers can request a specific region.
Subprocessors. Cloudflare (CDN, DNS), Railway (compute, database hosting), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI features, sent only if you enable them — never end-user content automatically). Full list available on request to privacy@insightdive.com.
Your rights. Workspace owners can export or delete all data from their account at any time. End-users have no account on our system — there's nothing to "delete" for them because we never identified them in the first place.
